Book Dr. Rheeda

Book Dr. Rheeda to bring culturally-informed insights about mental health to your next event, article, or show.

A licensed clinical psychologist and the author of The Unapologetic Guide to Black Mental Health, Dr. Rheeda aims to de-stigmatize the conversation around mental health in the African American community. She helps African Americans reclaim their culture and power to build psychological fortitude against daily stress and racist assaults on their dignity.

Dr. Rheeda is currently available for virtual events. In-person domestic and international engagements will resume when COVID-19 restrictions permit.

Dr. Walker speaks about:

  • how to build your psychological fortitude

  • the protective power of Black culture

  • threats to Black mental health

  • low-key depression and suicide

  • the toll of microaggressions

  • how to support someone who’s struggling
